Bottle & Can Drive and Appliance & Electronics Recycling Day

The Kennedy PCC is holding a Bottle & Can Drive and Appliance & Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, May 18th from 9 am – 12 pm in the Kennedy School parking lot.

We will accept Bottles & Cans (soda, seltzer, beer) as well as electronics and appliances such as cameras, computers, computer accessories, stereos, microwaves, air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers and dishwashers.

Volunteers are needed for 1 hour shifts from 9 am – 12 and clean up from 12-12:30 pm.  The students must have a parent with them.

Each student will receive a Kennedy School Blue Citizenship Ticket for volunteering and this activity qualifies for community service.

This year’s book fair is scheduled for Monday, May 20 to Thursday, May 23.   We are now scheduling shifts for those who signed up to be a part of the book fair committee or would like to be.

Franklin SEPAC (Special Education Advisory Council) offers excellent resources and talks on all types of children’s issues that many parents face today.  Monthly workshops are held on a variety of special education topics and are no cost to attend.Visit the SEPAC website at www.franklinsepac.org to learn more.
